Testing & Verification
Documentation is only meaningful when it belongs to the material in front of you. OnyxLabs maintains lot-level traceability and publishes analytical documentation when available for a specific lot. Every tested batch is linked to its corresponding documentation.
Step 01
Intake & lot assignment
Each incoming batch is logged against a unique OnyxLabs lot number with its source batch reference and received date. Nothing enters the catalog without a lot record.
Step 02
Sampling
When a lot is submitted for testing, a representative sample is drawn from that lot and sent to an independent analytical laboratory. Samples are never pooled across lots.
Step 03
Analysis & documentation
Where analysis is performed, the laboratory reports identity, purity and quantity results with the methods used. The report is published against the lot it was drawn from, never carried over to future lots.
Step 04
Verification
The lot number printed on the vial resolves to the batch record and its published documentation, so any vial can be checked against its own analysis.
Where a lot stands
COA availability varies by batch. Each lot moves through these stages, and a lot may legitimately remain at an earlier stage:
Not submitted
The lot has not yet been submitted for testing.
Submitted / in analysis
A sample is with the laboratory.
Results received
The report is being reviewed and matched to the lot.
Published
Documentation is available in the COA library.
